Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Advanced Air Traffic Systems (M) Sdn. Bhd. (AAT) are cooperating to jointly study and develop the air traffic systems for Malaysia. The MoU provides a wider access to research and development collaboration with regards to the radar and navigation technology development.
Prof. Ir. Dr. Wahid Omar, the Vice Chancellor, UTM represents the university during the MoU signing event while AAT is represented by YBhg Dato’ Mohamad bin Munip, Director of AAT with headquarter in Glenmarie Shah Alam, Selangor witnessed by AAT Chairman, YBhg Dato’ Zolkipli Abdul.
The UTM-AAT cooperation will benefit both local university researchers in radar and navigation system technologies by tapping both AAT’s vast experience in radar and navigation technologies and solid theoretical background possessed by the university.
Through collaborative research and development programs, AAT will benefit from the diverse research talents, excellent R&D infrastructure and large pool of research students in UTM.
