Advanced Air Traffic Systems (M) Sdn. Bhd. (AAT) initially certified with ISO 9001 certification on the Quality Management System (QMS) in 2010. Since then, AAT has been successfully preserved the certification which shows the commitment of the management towards implementation of the International Standard. In 2018, AAT successfully migrated from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 to comply with the ISO requirement and migration.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification establishes the criteria for a quality management system. Through this standard, AAT has been certified the need to meet its customer’s requirement and continually improve its services. Our management has designed its QMS to ensure that the quality policy is appropriate to the purpose of the organization and includes a commitment to comply with requirements and continually improve the effectiveness of the QMS. Specifically, our management implemented risk based thinking as a strategy for flexibility and agility to achieve the Company target.

The certification enhanced AAT’s competitiveness in this ATM industry both locally and overseas. To achieve and maintain with International Standard, AAT has set its policy and objectives with the aim of continual improvements to ensure customer’s satisfaction and also to enhance Company’s reputation.

AAT is fully committed to the quality policy as:

  • Providing maintenance and competitive solution in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standard requirement.
  • To be the most dynamic provider of digital information critical for air traffic control functions to ensure air safety within the Malaysian Flight Information Region (FIR)
  • Continuously practice Continual Improvement to achieve customer satisfaction through Quality Management System.

AAT has established, documented and maintained a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirement of the ISO 9001: 2015 and other related regulatory and statutory requirements.

To achieve such Quality Policy, AAT has set the Quality Objectives with the aim of continually improving the quality performance. AAT staffs are committed in its core objective to serve the customer at its best by the implementation of this policy.

However, this systematic process and practice of QMS has been established and extended to all stations throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.
