AAT introduced the ISO 9001 Certification in January 2009. This was immediately followed with a series of ISO awareness Training courses for all the staff in preparing them to adopt the International Standard on Quality Management System (QMS).
The process of documentations then took place ensuring all operational procedures and processes are properly documented using approved forms as stipulated by the ISO requirement and certification criteria. After having gone through the mandatory processes and documentations, AAT undergone the certification audit and officially received the ISO 9001 Certification in 2010 for an initial period of three (3) years from 2010 -2012. Since then this certification has been reviewed and re-audited 3 times ensuring that this International Standard adopted is continuously maintained.
From the initial introduction of only 3 sites namely, AAT HQ, Subang ATCC site and KLIA, this systematic process of QMS has been established and extended to all 16 stations throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.
This ISO 9001 Certification has helped enhanced AAT competitiveness in this ATM industry both locally and overseas. To achieve and maintain this international standard, AAT has set its policy and objective with the aim of continual improvements to ensure customers satisfaction and also to enhance company reputation.
